Missed Ford's historic victory at 24 Hours of Le Mans this summer? Though it's too late to see Ford rekindle its feud with Ferrari in person, the Ford VR app promises to put fans inside the action.
"We are very excited about this opportunity to provide truly immersive experiences that showcase the best of Ford Motor Company," says Lisa Schoder, Ford digital marketing manager. "Our virtual reality platform allows us to tell dramatic, impactful stories, to show a surprising side of Ford."
Ford VR is available for both Android and iOS, and is free to download. The first installment gives a 360-degree view of the Ford GT's path to the finish line at Le Mans. Soon to come this September, a shotgun ride-along with World Rallycross teammates Ken Block and Andreas Bakkerud in the Ford Focus RS RX.
