A roadside emergency kit should be something every driver should have within their vehicle. Unfortunately, the unexpected can happen, and you want to be prepared when it does.
We’ve compiled a short list of ideas that you should consider, and give yourself some peace of mind.
1) Include a set of jumper cables in case your battery becomes discharged. You can also help another driver if they’re in need of a jump start.
2) Assemble a set of essential tools, such as pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, or a socket set. A set of vice-grip pliers are universal, for many uses.
3) Always keep a can of fix-a-flat in your kit, and be sure to replace it each time you use one. Tip: Be sure to shake the can up fully before use.
4) Have a gallon of water in case your vehicle overheats. But never open a heated radiator.
Start with these ideas and assemble your roadside emergency kit specific to your needs.
