Ford's Silicon-Valley-Style Resolution

"Ford Motor Co., the 112-year-old automaker, has sought a record number of patents in 2015 as Chief Executive Officer Mark Fields pushes the company toward Silicon Valley-style innovation."

So begins Bloomberg Business's December 22nd article about Ford's push for innovation, which is bound to continue into the new year and beyond. In 2015, the manufacturer applied for over 5,500 patents, about 1,000 of which have already received the green light.
